Located in Hongdae, one of Seoul’s most vibrant, youthful, and creative neighborhoods, RYSE Hotel invites visitors to enjoy a one-of-a-kind stay.
“Long Bed for Long Sleep in the Far Future,” aka “BED 2525,” is more than a unique place to lay your head after roaming Seoul’s bustling streets. It’s an art installation in itself, placed in RYSE Hotel’s Curator Suite 1503. The concept behind the bed’s length revolves around the past and future of human evolution. Specifically, it is “contemplating a time when giants once again walk the earth.” After all, even future giants will need a place to catch some ZZZs.
Curator Suite 1503 debuted BED 2525 in February 2025. MSCHF, a viral Brooklyn-based art collective, is the brains behind the creativity. The powerhouse — best known for its 2023 Big Red Boots — also helped bring the room to life. The collaboration with RYSE Hotel includes over 10 MSCHF artworks in Curator Suite 1503. As a result, it is a unique oasis for artistic hypebeasts.
What Else Is There To Know About The Collaboration And RYSE Hotel?
“There’s been construction done on this room to create what we envisioned here, which is this massive, massive bed,” Matt Steiner, MSCHF’s former Director of Marketing, said in a promotional video. “And our art is on the walls in here, and I think it’s worth noting that this room is a MSCHF home.”
“I think people that will come experience this room will be from all walks of life. I think they’re going to be MSCHF fans … You’re quite literally sleeping on art. The whole room is filled with it,” he added.
“The room has been curated to not only serve as the holding room for BED 2525, but also to allow guests a chance to experience the artwork up close, and evoke a feeling of sleeping over at a gallery,” further noted an MSCHF Instagram post.
RYSE Hotel is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. It’s an art-filled accommodation with 272 rooms, dining options, a cocktail bar, co-working areas, an event space, and a lounge filled with niche media.
