Last month, Delta Air Lines announced the rollout of a premium check-in area and experience for its customers who prioritize extra convenience and comfort.
Known as “Delta One Check-In,” the new airport offering is accessible to ticketed Delta One flyers departing that day, other business-class flyers traveling with select Delta partners, and the airline’s 360 Members. The exclusive space exists for flyers to enjoy expedited check-in and bag drop-off, as well as a mellow atmosphere before airport security and taking to the skies. Inside, guests will have access to a quiet space with “comfortable seating” and “light bites and beverages.” Also, on-site Premium Service ambassadors will offer “personalized assistance.”
Delta shared the news about its latest premium airport offering at the beginning of the 2025 end-of-year holiday travel period. Eligible flyers can now enjoy Delta One Check-In at eight of the carrier’s United States-based hubs. Those airports are Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA), and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).
What Else Is There To Know About Delta One Check-In?
Delta explains that its new premium check-in experience expands its Delta One long-haul business-class luxe from the skies to the ground at select airports. Travelers should be mindful that the size, layout, and exact location of each Delta One Check-In will vary by airport. Delta reminds travelers that JFK and LAX offer ‘private Delta One security,’ which can escort flyers to those airports’ respective Delta One Lounges.
“Delta One Check-In sets the tone for each one of our Delta One customers to begin experiencing their elevated journey from the moment they arrive at the airport,” stated Greg Forbes, Delta’s managing director of airport experience. “It builds on the efficiency and consistency with a welcoming, calm environment that reflects Delta’s signature care and hospitality.”
